This Water-Filled Attenuator/Crash Cushion is MASH Eligible for speeds of 31 mph, 45 mph and 62 mph. Used to shield the end of all permanent and temporary portable barrier shapes including concrete, steel and plastic, it does not require foundation anchor bolts to be attached to the road or bridge deck. The crash cushion can be installed on compacted dirt, gravel, decomposed granite, asphalt, or concrete.
The water-filled crash cushion is a narrow, non-redirective gating crash cushion that meets the TxDOT Crash Cushion Attenuator Category of Sacrificial, Non-Redirective and Gating. The crash cushion can be used in temporary work zones only. It provides shoulder and point protection and falls under the latest statewide standard SLED-19 (MASH Compliant). The system is FHWA Accepted for Use in Uni- and Bi- Directional Applications.

This Sand Barrel Attenuator/Crash Cushion can be arranged in configurations that are MASH Eligible for speeds between 25 mph to 70 mph. Used to shield the end of rigid objects in both temporary and/or permanent roadside installations. The free-standing sand barrels are not anchored to the surface, do not require a transition, and can be used on concrete, asphalt, gravel, compacted dirt, and inertial (barrel) pallets.
The Sand Barrel meets the TxDOT Crash Cushion Attenuator Category of Sacrificial, Redirective and Gating in both TL-2 and TL-3 areas. The barrels may be used in permanent applications or in temporary work zones, providing shoulder protection, point protection and/or gore two-side protection and fall under the latest statewide standard VIA(SFPM)-19 (MASH Compliant)
